The Department of Health Care Finance Awards GA1 IDIQ
For Marketing Outreach
Washington D.C., June 2, 2011 - Global Advertising 1st (GA1), an award-winning integrated marketing solutions firm, has been selected by the Department of Health Care Finance (DHCF) to fulfill marketing outreach for District of Columbia residents. GA1 was awarded the contract based on its expertise and experience successfully producing healthcare related marketing and outreach materials that have included recruitment ads, brochures, fliers, internal and external posters, banners, newsletters and direct mail pieces.
GA1 has begun to develop a niche in healthcare marketing and outreach initiatives. Other clients have included the American Lung Association of DC (ALADC), DC Tobacco Free Families (DCTFF) and National Institute of Allergy and infectious Diseases (NIAID). “We attribute our success in healthcare marketing and outreach to knowing our audience, how to reach them and changing behavior through our methodologies”, says GA1 CEO, Derrick Hollie.
GA1 serves as the marketing arm that DHCF relies on to increase the awareness of the agency and to expeditiously develop and implement communications and outreach to support DHCF’s mission.
The first task delivered for DHCF was to print and mail about 40,000 Health Check brochures promoting free check-ups for District residents from birth up to age 21 that have Medicaid/DC Health Families. Next, GA1 will mail post cards promoting the HealthCheck Provider Education System training.
DHCF’s mission is to improve health outcomes by providing access to comprehensive, cost effective, and quality health care services for residents of the District of Columbia.
