National Harbor, Md., May 8, 2011 – Global Advertising 1st (GA1) announced today that it has been awarded a Blank Purchase Agreement (BPA) to provide general support services to the National Institute of Health (NIH). BPA’s simplify the government purchasing process by allowing agencies to order and pay for services quickly from already approved vendors.
The inclusion on this BPA continues an ongoing relationship between Global Advertising 1st and NIH. Since 2009, GA1 has worked with NIH’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), primarily to create and place recruitment advertisements for the department.
“We are pleased to have a new vehicle that will allow us to work with NIH,” said Derrick Hollie, CEO of GA1. “We’ve created some great ads for NIH, but I hope that this BPA allows GA1 to assist with a broader range of services, such as our Event and Conference Planning, or Public Relations services.”
GA1 also holds a BPA with the Department of Commerce. This BPA has resulted in the award of four Event and Conference Planning contracts, mostly with the agency’s National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
